Today is Teacher Appreciation Day at Cumberland. Pictured are a few of our teachers in the district. Thank you to all of our teachers for your dedication to our students and schools!

Mrs. Becker's speech class wrote special occasion speeches as part of their mock weddings to finish their course. One class decided on a beach wedding, and the other on an early 2000 millennial wedding.

It is Staff Appreciation Week at Cumberland! Today, we are celebrating our secretaries, counselors, social worker, and school psychologist. Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and community!

Join us on Tuesday, May 7, for an evening of family fun! The food trucks are back and will be here from 4:00-6:30 PM. Head into the elementary and middle school to see student work and art displayed, visit the Scholastic Book Fair, and check out the Star Lab! At 7 PM, walk over to the high school for Fine Arts Night. There will be displays from the art and industrial arts classes. Following the art show will be a band and choir concert. We hope to see you there!

Student work will be displayed, artwork will be exhibited, and the Scholastic Book Fair will be open. The food trucks are back! We hope to see you then!

The CHS Lady Pirates are hosting a basketball camp May 22-24. Girls in grades 1-8 for the 2024-25 school year are invited to attend. All schools are welcome. The cost of the camp is $40, and this includes a camp t-shirt. To guarantee a t-shirt, money must be turned in to the school by May 10. Students in the district will receive eclipse glasses to use at home on Monday, April 8. Here is some information about the eclipse and viewing it safely.
