Last year after Mike Oakley passed away, the students with the middle school Kindness Ambassadors wanted to do something for the school to carry on the positive impact he made on our students. They decided to collect plastic caps to produce recycled benches that would be given to the school. So many students brought their recyclable caps!  The Kindness Ambassadors sorted, cleaned, and took the caps to the EIASE Recycling Center to be turned into benches. Between the bus drivers and the Kindness Ambassadors fundraising and cap collecting, the school received three benches - two blue benches and one red dedicated to Mike Oakley.

In the pictures of the red bench are the bus drivers and Mike’s family.
