Cumberland Elementary and Middle School would like to thank the Class of 1955 Reunion Committee for the generous donation of $288.75 to our school library. Librarian Mrs. Megan Walk will use it to purchase books for our students to continue to encourage and promote reading. We appreciate your investment in our students' learning through this gift. Cumberland Elementary School Kindergarten Registration 2021-2022 If your child will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2021 he/she needs to be pre-registered for Kindergarten. Please start the process at the Google Form link K-Registration below. The form will be available starting March 22nd and will close on April 9th. Elementary and Middle School -- Picture Retake Day -- February 17, 2021 If your child was absent, remote learning, or quarantined, this will be his/her opportunity to have school pictures taken. If you did not like your child’s picture that was taken in November, you may return the pictures, and he/she will be photographed again on this day. If your child is a full-time remote learner and you would like to have his/her picture taken, please bring your child to school between 9:30 and 10:30 am on the 17th. You may drop off your child at the office entrance and wait in your car while pictures are taken. It should only take a few minutes. A mask will be required to enter the building. Cumberland Elementary is trying to beat the winter blahs with some exciting days. The events will run from February 24 through February 28.

Family Literacy Night

This morning (August 27), Cumberland elementary and middle school students participated in a crisis emergency DRILL. This drill was discussed in your child's classroom. Our school officers and our local sheriff also participated in this drill. Our students and staff did a great job.
