The Cumberland Pre-K had their last day of school yesterday. They are ready for the summer!





Ms. Koonce's kindergarten class has been growing grass. Today, it was time to mow the lawn!



Today, we celebrate the bus drivers, cooks, custodians, maintenance staff, and resource officers at Cumberland. These hardworking individuals help keep things around the district running smoothly. Thank you for everything!



Sarah Bush Lincoln Healthy Kids, SBL Dental, local pediatricians, and the Cumberland County Health Department visited the 2nd grade on Wednesday during their Health Fair. The students learned about eating right, exercising, choosing good food and drinks, caring for their teeth, and handwashing.

The kindergarten classes planted flowers for Mother's Day with the help of the high school FFA members.







The fourth grade classes went on a conservation field trip recently. They drove through Cumberland County and explored Fox Ridge.







Thank you to all who were able to make it out to school last night for the Family Engagement and Fine Arts events. The students have worked hard and appreciate your support!

It is Staff Appreciation Week at Cumberland! Today, we are celebrating our secretaries, counselors, social worker, and school psychologist. Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and community!


Join us on Tuesday, May 7, for an evening of family fun! The food trucks are back and will be here from 4:00-6:30 PM.
Head into the elementary and middle school to see student work and art displayed, visit the Scholastic Book Fair, and check out the Star Lab!
At 7 PM, walk over to the high school for Fine Arts Night. There will be displays from the art and industrial arts classes. Following the art show will be a band and choir concert.

The Scholastic Book Fair is here! The book fair will be open at the grade school from Monday, May 6 - Thursday, May 9. It will also be open during Family Engagement Night, May 7, from 4:00-6:30 PM.

Today is Matchy Match Day for the ABCs Countdown to Summer in the elementary and middle schools!

Today, the Soil and Water Conservation Department spoke to the 3rd grade students about the importance of trees in honor of Arbor Day. The students each received a sapling to take home and plant. The Soil and Water Conservation Department also helps fund the third grade field trip to Ballard Nature Center!
