Students interested in high school cheerleading for the 2020/2021 school year are encouraged to contact Shaina Oakley-Kanizer before May 1, 2020 to let her know of your interest in being on the squad. She can be emailed at shaina.oakley@gmail.com
Class of 2020-please either fill out the google form or email Miss Booth (kbooth@cumberland.k12.il.us) about the Senior Class Shirt. IF you have already done this, you are good to go! She needs all responses by 8AM on Saturday 4/25. We want to make sure everyone is included.

This is to inform students and parents that there is still time to order a 2020 HIGH SCHOOL yearbook. With COVID 19 shutdowns, the company is extending the deadline to order a yearbook. You have until May 29, 2020 to place an order. If you wish to order a yearbook, please send a check to Mr. Muhr at the high school for $75.00. Your graduation items will be available on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 starting at 11:30. If school is back in session you will pick them up over your lunch hour. If school is not in session, we will do a drive thru pick at the doors by the senior parking lot from 11:30 to 12:30. Any questions please feel free to call or email me.

The high school basketball All-Star Game scheduled for March 28th has been postponed. An announcement of a new date will be made once it is set.
High school basketball awards scheduled for Wednesday, March 18th, have been postponed until further notice.
The indoor track meets at EIU for both girls (March 14th) and boys (March 21st) have been cancelled.

On Friday, February 14, 2020 Don and Beverly (Olmstead) Brannan were in Cumberland County celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary and stopped by Cumberland High School to visit. Don and Beverly are the Homecoming King and Queen of 1968 and graduates of Cumberland High School Class of 1969. Cumberland High School students and staff were honored that Don and Beverly stopped by to visit on their very special day.
