Just like on the show Shark Tank, the Math Applications class presented their business ideas to the Sharks recently. Students used financial information to calculate annual revenue, expenses, EBIT, and business valuation. In their presentations, the Sharks and students conversed and made deals for financial backing in exchange for equity in the business!

Foods III students have been busy making Christmas magic! They designed & built gingerbread houses. First, they made homemade gingerbread, royal icing and buttercream frosting. Then, they got to work assembling their creation and decorating it with edible items. Students used cereal, candy and other small props to personalize their houses. Mrs. Thomas and Ms. Tran are so proud of their amazing work! If you would like to see them, the gingerbread houses were entered in the Candy Canes on Main competition that is being held this weekend. You can vote for your favorite entry at the Wildflour Bakery in downtown Casey.
