We are excited to have a second Shoe Tree distribution for our students this year. The normal Shoe Tree Fall distribution is still being planned for the 24-25 school year. A form will be sent out in May for that Shoe Tree.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, complete this form for qualifying students, Pre K-8th grade, to receive a free pair of shoes. Shoes will be distributed by the school in mid-February. Please complete this form by January 19, 2024.

On January 5, the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) will recognize Cumberland High School as one of the few consolidated high schools that have surpassed the 1000 win mark for boys basketball. We would like to invite all past/present players, coaches, and fans to attend this event that will take place between the JV and Varsity games that evening.

Students in FACS classes donated money to purchase Christmas gifts for children who live in foster homes. Mrs. Thomas purchased ingredients for S'mores & students could pay to make one after they finished their final exam. All the money that was collected was used for the toys.
Santa checked in on one of our elementary classrooms today.

The F/S basketball game on Tuesday has been canceled. CGB doesn't have enough players. The start time for the JV game is 6:00 PM.
This past Friday, the Middle School Kindness Ambassadors cleaned all the caps that were collected. Now, the caps go to a company to be recycled into a bench. This bench will be placed at the grade school in memory of Mike Oakley. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the cap collection!
