The students were trying to engineer an apple picker that would allow them to pick up their paper apples. There were many different designs. The Pre-K students in Mrs. Waller and Mrs. Ozier’s classroom had an exciting day today. They were introduced to two new classroom pets, guinea pigs the students later named Chewy and Emma. The students learned how to feed the guinea pigs today because that will be a classroom job in the future. Chewy and Emma appear to be very happy in their new home!

Meyer Twins Art will be offering an after school program for Cumberland elementary and middle school students on Wednesday, September 28, from 3:15-5:15 in the grade school cafeteria.
