Cumberland High School’s Fellowship of Christians Athletes met on October 13 and heard guest Speaker Mike Nichols speak about aspects of teamwork and working toward goals. Nichols, a probation officer for Coles/Cumberland Court Services, is a former football player and current IHSA official in several sports.
“I wish someone had told me about officiating when I was your age,” Nichols told students. “It’s a great way to earn some money and stay involved in sports when your high school sports career has finished.”
