At last night's basketball game, Cumberland High School's Illinois State Scholars were recognized. Illinois State Scholars are chosen based on the students' 6th-semester academic data and their ACT pr SAT scores, representing approximately 10% of the graduates statewide. Mark your calendars! Cumberland will begin accepting appointments for the free developmental screenings for two- to five-year-olds, including all incoming kindergarteners, on March 2!
The screenings will be on Monday, March 16, and Tuesday, March 17, at the Toledo Christian Church. You will need proof of residency, a certified copy of their birth certificate, and a current physical, if available. Parents may preregister incoming kindergarten students for the 2026-2027 school year on the day of screening.
